visuals /art

pixels is gone

You discovered another change again in my logo? Yes that’s true, let me explain..

My previous logo contained the word “pixel” in “pixel | visuals | art”, which is not longer true, because I no longer want to have my pictures solely in the digital domain where “pixel” stood for. I want to go more general in thinking of terms, so I decided to remove the word “pixel” of my logo and name.

In a digital world where we live in you cannot get rid of your digital workflow, but when the project started the intension was to only get the best out of the digital photography domain. As time proves it was a good decision for the moment but not forever.

I still want to work digital, because it’s easy, but I also enjoy the analog process of capturing pictures. The analog way let me focus more on the picture and since I cannot review the picture instantly it’s forcing me be more precise and control whatever I do.

It’s a bit like going back to school and learn the basics of photography once more. There nothing has changed, you still need light, a subject and focus yourself and the camera towards the final result.

That’s the story behind the new logo, constant improvement, adjustment and better focus. Here simplicity is key as well..

Good bye pixel | visuals | art

Welcome visuals /art which is mainly visuals & art, but I like the slash between the words 🙂

And yes, from now on I also will write my posts in a more common language, english of course 🙂

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful time.
Capture the light, share the moment.
